Dorset

Next we stopped at the sandstone cliffs of Golden Cap, West Bay, Dorset which is the Golden Gateway to the Jurassic Coast.

The county of Dorset is mainly rural, but the amazing coastline affords family-friendly sandy beaches,

Situated at the western end of Chesil Beach / Chesil Bank, the area forms part of the Dorset Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site within Lyme Bay.

Dorset is also famous for its cottages with their water-reed thatched roofs.

We only passed by, but they were very cute.
